Todd McCalla has created the National Margarita Day. There isn’t any mention of the year from when this Day has begun its celebration. The founder of National Margarita Day has come up with such an idea as a way to spread his love for the margaritas around the world. McCalla has also created and owns a website with the name Nationalmargaritaday.com out of respect for the cocktail drink. Margarita has its own place in the history and the heart of people. Thus he has set aside February 22nd of every year for this celebration. The tradition and the history of Margarita are long and is loved and drunk by so many millions of people from all over the world.

It is believed that he has invented the cocktail for Marjorie King, who was allergic to all the hard alcohol except for tequila. There is another claim, and it says that Santos Cruz has invented it in Galveston, Texas for a singer Patty Lee, a popular patron.
